Farmer’s Copper Ltd. inventories aluminum bronze in plate, sheet, and round rod. C61400 is used extensively in welded fabricating piping and vessels to resist corrosion media. It can be welded with inert-gas and a shielded metal-arc welding process. Copper alloy 614 has excellent mechanical properties and ductility, which make this alloy suitable for high load wear applications. C614 round rod is excellent for fasteners, such as bolting and tie rods in environments where corrosion resistance and strength are required.
