Phosphor Bronze 544 / C544 / C54400
Farmer’s Copper Ltd. maintains an extensive inventory of Phosphor Bronze C54400 round rod. C54400 provides an excellent bearing surface that limits friction and resists wear. Its use as an electrical conductor is limited to applications where high strength is required and relatively low conductivities can be tolerated. Copper Alloy 544 is a primary applicant where strength and bearing properties are required, and, in addition, offers the corrosion resistant characteristic of the high tin phosphor bronzes.
