Aluminum Silicon Bronze
Farmer’s Copper Ltd. maintains an inventory of C64200 aluminum silicon bronze. C642 is non-magnetic and has good fatigue and galling resistance. It has the highest machinability rating of bronzes and brasses without the addition of lead. Copper alloy 642 has a combination of machinability, strength, and, hot forgeability, and corrosion and wear resistance that make this a superior copper alloy.
