Farmer’s Copper maintains an extensive inventory of Aluminum Bronze: C614, C630, C642, C954, C955 and C959. Aluminum bronze is the highest strength standard copper based alloy. Aluminum in conjunction with iron and nickel in C955 acts as a strengthener in these alloys. Farmer’s continually supplies aluminum bronze copper alloys in plate, sheet, and bar. All aluminum bronzes can be heat treated, thereby increasing their strength. Aluminum bronze alloys have high strength, hardness and corrosion resistance, as well as toughness and good wear resistance.
