Farmer’s Copper Ltd. maintains an inventory of C61400 aluminum bronze alloy in plate, sheet, and round rod. C614 has excellent mechanical properties and ductility, which makes this alloy suitable for high load applications, as well as the construction of vessels with high-pressure requirements and the process of product subjected to corrosion and erosion. C61400 is used extensively in welded fabricating piping and vessels to resist corrosion media. It can be welded with inert gas and a shielded metal-arc welding process. C61400 aluminum bronze alloy has excellent mechanical properties and ductility, which make this alloy suitable for high load wear applications. C614 round rod is excellent for fasteners, such as bolting and tie rods in environments where corrosion resistance and strength are required.
