Oxygen free copper is selected when material purity, ductility, and signal integrity carry more weight than general-purpose conductivity alone. By minimizing oxygen content, this alloy supports stable performance in high-frequency, high-vacuum, and thermally sensitive environments where conventional copper grades can introduce variability.
