ASTM B196
Farmer’s Copper Ltd. inventories C17300 beryllium copper round rod up to 1” diameter. C173 is known as Free-Machining Beryllium, and is used when the formation of small discontinuous chips during machining is desirable. Copper Alloy 173 beryllium has the same mechanical and physical properties of those of the unleaded Alloy 172.
