High-Leaded Tin bronze C936 or Modified SAE 64 has advantages over other leaded bronzes such as: bearings run cooler, less tool wear, corrosion-resistant, better survival of interruptions in lubrication, better machinability, and resists pounding over other bearing materials. C936 bronze applications are used in steel mills, oil refineries, and compressor manufacturers.
